Hey guys,

as you may have seen on Instagram, I have been to Hong Kong last week (my first time in China, yeei!) and I bought some really nice things there I’d like to share with you today.

Millie’s ankle boots

The first item I’d like to show you are these super comfy booties from Millie’s (www.millies.com.hk). Millie’s is a China based brand and unfortunately not available in other countries yet. So if you have the chance to visit Hong Kong, Macau or other parts of China, make sure you stop by at one of their stores – their collection is huge!

I just discovered this brand by coincidence because I arrived quite early at the airport on my way back from HK to Dubai and strolled through the stores. At first, another pair of satin booties caught my eye – THEY WERE ON SALE! – but deep inside I knew they don’t match with any item of my wardrobe so I kept looking.

In the end I found another really cute pair of ankle boots and the only decision I had to take was whether I should buy them in velours or smooth leather. I went for the first option and I’m happy I did as they can be worn with almost anything.

And the best thing about all of their shoes: THEY’RE COMFY! Even their high heels have a padded insole (the real thing, not the still uncomfy ones you find in designer heels) and so did my beauties. I wear them even on full day events and my feet never hurt a single bit!

It’s like walking on clouds that’s why I wanted to share these with you as I think some of you girls might have the same struggle.

The heels of these booties are also really special as they have a slight bevel which makes them even more special. I paid around 120$ for them after the discount but for this amazing quality and the “walking on clouds” feeling they’re definitely worth the money!

Orogold 24K Multi-Vitamin Deep Peeling

The second item I bought was the 24K Multi-Vitamin Deep Peeling (Link here!) of the brand Orogold which is part of their White Gold collection. Before going to Hong Kong I’ve never heard of them but while I got lost – again – in the streets I discovered their beautiful store.

Sue, the very eager sales lady, showed me a bunch of creams and elixirs and finally the peeling. She applied it to my left hand and immediately you could see how the dead skin flakes appeared which she then removed with a tissue.

She then applied a skin cream to my hand and you could clearly see how quickly my skin absorbed it. She also applied the same cream to the other hand (which did not have the peeling before) and the cream stayed where it was and took way longer to be absorbed by my skin.

I was impressed!

Now I use it daily and I have to say that my skin looks much better, the visible pores I had next to my nose disappeared and my skin is much clearer overall. No more pimples since I started using it!

The only downside of it was the price. Originally it was around 88$ but Sue gave me 20$ off, so I only paid 68$. Still a prodigious price but she assured me that the 50ml version I bought (there’s a 100ml version as well) would last me around 6 months which is fair.

Issey Miyake BaoBao metallic bag

Last but not least I’d like to show you my new baby! Isn’t it cute?

If you follow me for a while now, you know about my Issey Miyake BaoBao obsession and that I can’t really resist when they launch a new color or shape.

I own four bags in total, 3 original, one counterfeit that I bought in Thailand during my semester abroad when I was 20 and couldn’t afford the original. This bag is the only counterfeit I own and I think I compensated my “fake purchase” with all the bags I bought and the advertising I do in the metro, haha.

Almost every day someone asks me where I got the bag, even men!

The shape of this collection is just so unique, so I totally understand when people are fascinated about it. I am too! The small triangles just move in such a special way which I have never seen before with any brand and that’s why I love BaoBao so much.

That’s why I could not resit this time either and now one more bag of this collection brightens my day πŸ™‚

I also love buying bags abroad because they always remind me of the good time I had there. <3

I hope you liked the three items and I would love to hear your opinion on them. If you have found or tried similar items I’d be happy to hear about them!

PS: I bought all of these items myself and none of them was a sponsored collaboration (I wish! haha). Authentic posts only! πŸ™‚
